I noticed this and thought it might be good for when you need extra storage for extended camping trips. Can be hooked to paddle boards as well.

What a nifty idea! Wonder if it could be rotomolded for tripping downriver with class 3 rapids? That would be the cherry on the cake.

If you need to take that you've got too much crap. You can survive on an amazingly small amount of gear. For an extended trip you only need to carry extra dehydrated food and water if it's not attainable on the journey.

I know a guy that has cut down an old fibreglass kayak, re-glassed the ends, glassed twin skegs on the back and made a neoprene hatch cover. It tows well. I have photos somewhere but can't find at present.

If common sense was common, there would be more of it!

Hi guys,

I would like to address some of the concerns for the "Kayakkaboose". I am the founder & owner of this product. Someone had mentioned rotomolding; the intial kaboose was going to be manufactured that way but the dry weight would have come in at 28 lbs. Thermoforming brought the dry weight in at 15 lbs, that's a huge difference. The cost was more but the durability, material integrity, aesthetically it has a smoother finish and is pretty sleek in the water or snow which I know you guys lack. It's funny someone spoke about class 3 rapids as I am waiting for a dvd from someone who loaded the Kaboose above the rated max weight (150 lbs) and spent 4 days on a river in Michigan, US. The person towing the kaboose dropped over a 12 ft drop into class 3 rapids. He flipped over a couple of times and bounced off some rocks. The Kaboose stayed upright & everything inside was dry. I will post the dvd once I receive it. .

Cheers
Kaboose

If you are going to promote your product ... Get the spelling and grammar right!
And as for those #$%$^#$ feral apostrophes! ... ...
If you can't be bothered with that I have to wonder whether you can bother with the quality of the product, let alone service to customers.
