SEQ Snapper Classic 4/5 July

Hi Guys,

Has anyone got any info to share on this comp?

I and a couple of other AKFF'ers entered the kayak division last year and it was a pretty good little comp, Paddleparra even won the kayak section. It's run by the Bribie Island Sportsfishing Club & based at the Coast Guard at Scarborough boat harbour. From memory last year proceeds went to the Coast Guard.

If anyone knows start/briefing times, costs or is able to confirm a kayak section is still included it would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers

Gday Scotty
had a chat to Jeff Sorrell(BSFC president) last night and its been cancelled for this year.
seems sponsorship issues (due to the recession) and heavy work commitments for the guys involved
in organizing the tournament meant that they wouldnt have been able to maintain the high standard
they set last year.
