Re: Mar Fishing Comp - WINNERS ANNOUNCED

Postby leftieant » Thu Mar 19, 2009 8:52 am

And once again, a ripper month on the kayak fishing scene. We had 36 entries this month, no Tales of Woe, and 6 Hall of Fame entries. Top effort to all!

As always, it was very difficult picking the results. So here goes:

1st place to Azzaroo with a 106cm Longtail Tuna - awesome work! 100 points
2nd place to Worleybird with a 99cm Bronze Whaler - 90 points plus 20 points HOF
3rd place to Polylureosis with a 50cm Sampson Fish - 80 points plus 20 points HOF
4th place to Davey G with a 43cm Whiting - 70 points plus 10 points HOF (can't say he hasn't been working for that one, people!)
5th place to Lazybugger with a 40cm Painted Sweetlip - 60 points plus 30 points HOF
6th place to Stitcho with a 46cm Tarpon - 50 points plus 10 points HOF

Lucky Bugger points went to the following:

Magic date was the 7th of March - AJD, Victor-Victor, and Kraley all pick up a 50% point bonus.
Magic letter was "V" - congrats to Victor-Victor for picking up another double point bonus
Magic length was 93cm - congrats to Gamefisher, with his 90cm Longtail Tuna picking up the points there.

And thanks to Davo's Bait & Tackle, the lucky random prize winners this month are:
Rstanek (estuary lure), Paffoh (freshwater lure), Avayak (popper) and Are-We-Ther-Yet (bluewater lure)

Thanks all for entering & we'll see you next month!

LB takes out 5th place with a "MILF" aka Mother In Law Fish. So named becasue of their fantastic eating qualities, i.e: if you catch one give it to your mother in law, don't eat it yourself.

Man that's cheeky, I reckon he was submitting that just to get his 30 points but lady luck has smiled on him and he takes out a place and gets HOF points for vermin.

Nice one Scotty, next time I see you at Reccliffe be prepared for some light hearted poo flinging.
