Richard Somerton continues his form from Forster and leads after day 1... Looks like it was a pretty tough day with 22 of the 44 yakkers not getting a legal bream.

The weigh-in will be streamed live from the BREAM website (http://live.bream.com.au/) tomorrow at 1pm Victorian time.

Great to see Strawbs filling his bag, Lewis emptied his bag it seems.....

Day 2 is all done and the eventual winner is Chris Burbidge who snuck past overnight leader Richard Somerton with an overall bag of 6 fish for 3.57kgs. Richard still took out the Big Bream prize though with his day 1 kicker fish of 770 grams.

And Hobie chief Steve Fields shares in the champagne with 3rd place. Well done to the top three and a big round of applause for getting 44 kayaks on the water, easily beating the boat numbers which only saw 27 competing.
cheers,
