It was easy to make, i made a template then cut out another piece for the body/shell ,placed a small piece of strip lead under the hook shaft and arrildited them all together along with two small lengths of mono for feelers and two eyes made from those pins with coloured heads.A final coating of the epoxy over the shell after shadeing with a permanent texter and it was done.It sinks slowly and the right way up in slow moveing water just like a small crab that fell of its perch if you will . It doesnt cast well and a small running float is needed to gain any distance along with as light a line as you dare.

Kitter ,the crab looks great!. I honestly think there is nothing more satifying than producing fish on a homemade lure. My opinion in what make a good lure is one the fish dont see all the time :D good luck radar

TOO true radar , once my brother ran out of bait and that was all he had ever used till then , his old mate who was with him at the time asked brother for his thong [footwear] , and proceeded to cut it into bite sized pieces slipped a hook into it and started to catch yellow belly one after the other ,my brother still swears they are the best yellowbelly lure on the market and cheap too  .The only downside was he got prickles in his left foot on the walk home  .
