well members what a day fantastic it started of like this i am all ready to hit the road but had to wait for yakka dave and Jess 2 to arrive . So while i was waiting i took a few photos of the sun coming up and posted one just as Yakka Dave and Jess 2 arrived it was a quick good morning then on the road.
Soon we arrived at Chris's place and yes he was out of bed and ready to go but Yakka Dave
the 50 year old pensioner had to fiddle with his trailer lights and complaining he couldn't see
that well but i noticed Jess 2 never rushed to help the old man out. but soon all was fixed and we were on the road to the west coast .
Meanwhile Garfield had gone to pick up Jack and they were going to have a cardboard breakfast yes you geussed it BIG Mc MMMMMMM the mind boggles . But im sure they enjoyed it
we all met up at fossy river but stayed in radio contact most of the way.
on arrival at fossy river the SES were setting up a driver reviver site where you can stop for a coffee we thought it was just a fantastic thing, we stopped had a drink then Garfield and Jack arrived .
now it was off to lake roseberry and out in the yaks we arrived at the boat ramp at the northen end of Tullah were we put in what a perfect day not a bit of wind .
soon we were all unloaded and we were on the water were it all began i said something about there being a cave up there then a comment like we know that you gereatric then i knew not to say a word just let the camera speak for me as it will later." its time for a bit for tea" i will come back soon.
Ok im back we soon come out ove the small gorge and out into the main lake it was just like a mirror what can i say once again i will leave this to the camera why live anywhere else.
soon we had paddled up the lake to a group of islands were we stopped for a drink and a well earned Jipsys kiss (toilet stop).
Poor old Yakka Dave was trying to catch a fish from the shore well wot hope did he have with the tassiepaddlers morron rock skimming championchips on i do beleive Yakka knew when he was beatten and joined in soon that fun was put stop to by wasps they were everywhere time to move on so we paddled for another hour then stopped for lunch what a great spot a nice gravelly beach . now strange things happened yakka went for a jipsys kiss only to come back to find his yak gone were was it arr there it be yakka out in the middle of the lake' now the only question remains is how did it get there.
Still no one has fessed up to how it got there this will no dout stay a tassiepaddlers secret .
Well Grafield and Jess 2 were the retreval team and got yakka dave's yak back ,happy to have his yak back we were soon on the water again with some great photos taken as you will see after
We explored a few spots for camping and found a few just for later reference every thing is fine untill you stop on the shore them wasps would drive you crazy well on the way back i think Garfield ,Jack and Jess 2 had some kind of dengy fever or something they come out in the worst scotish irish type accent i had ever heard and trying to hide from the sun and paddling through sticks and trees at high speed i tell you it was frightning to watch
Soon we were back at our starting point and all to soon it was time to load up and hit the road for home stopping for a well earned cuppa and snag at fossy river thanks to the SES Driver Reviver Stop . well on that note i would like to thank Garfield ,Jack,Jess 2 , Yakka Dave and Chris For one very memroble days and i hope everyone enjoyed it as much as i did and a big thanks to Jack and Chris for coming along it was a pleasure
Well enough from me now for some photos ok after i have a drink
Cheers Simmo
