G'day all,

Just got back from the lakes this morning. Awesome place but only spent around 30mins on the water fishing, due to ugly horrible weather. ( 25-30knot winds, heavy rain and about 5degrees! )

Only hooked onto one medium browny but snapped him at my feet trying to net the bugger  :(

Anyway, im very keen to hit up Meadowbank Dam, it's an awesome place and holds some fat fish aswell 8) ;-)

Yeah i'd be keen to hit the Derwent with you James for sure, chase some bream. It would be a nice paddle whether the fish were on or not ;-)

Cheers

James, Thanks for the link to the Photos they are awesome. I quite like some of the shots you took of the Fagus, it's by far my favourite Tassie plant.

Anyway, I am still a go for the Midway Point Causeway this Saturday afternoon if anyone is free to join me? I am planning on being there by 1:00 if I can, I won't be too far either side of 1:00 at any rate.
Cheers
John

Damn Free Beer.

It's looking like a great day but due to having lots of my favourite kind of beer last night I'm in no condition to get out on the water. Looking forward to checking out the Annaconda store too !
At least I remember how to paddle, just need to work out how to fish.

The day looked good from the land mate, but on the water she was very different, blowing a bit of a gale out over the causeways.

Andy C and I were the only starters and no fish to report, I am just glad I got out on my Flex day on MOnday and scored a few fish.

I've got a few of them coming my way, though no idea of when I'll actually get to take them, work is nuts at the moment.

Let me know when you have them mate, I am still owed 5 full days in Flex and it is building up. And it would be good to keep using them for fishing
