Spearfishing buddy Gold coast and surrounding areas

Hey guys another newbie here, been spearfishing a while on the goldie but just bought a OC 4.7 ultra and rigged it up for spearfishing and was wondering if there were any other spearos with yaks in the area that wouldn't mind a tag along cos my regular buddy is away for 7 weeks.
Available any day of the week/weekend exept wednesdays coz thats when i meet up with the boss ;-)
Mainly been diving palmy and hastings through the winter and am keen to check out a few new spots too, have posted on the spearo forum but no luck so thought id try it here.
