Has anyone arrived yet? I pedaled past last night expecting to see a group of chiseled mariners standing around their yaks, beers in hand......nup!
Out this morning, no shortage of mowies and a school of salmon that kept me entertained for an hour. Depending on the weather will be out again tomorrow morning.

OK, first impresions.
The grass is full of bindie, there's a million screaming kids, it's 36C and humid, the water is brown, the toilets smell.....

Nah really - It's right on the water, there's a family of wood ducks wandering around, there's also roos and rabbits hopping through the sites. There's Crimson rosellas and lorikeets in the trees. The entrance is closed but it looks like a decent rain would solve that. It is humid, but bearable. No idea about the fishing yet but there's a bunch of old farts fishing for blackfish off the front rock wall - apparently there's been a hot bite.
Campers kitchen is pretty basic - BBQ and microwave. There are also waterfront BBQs.
See you all soon.
Cheers
Craig

If the weather is fine I am planning to launch out of Bendalong around 5.45, will troll around to Green island (around 45 minutes if there are no hookups) and see if there is any pinkies there then throw the hardbodies back on and head back around to Bendalong.
