Have just ordered from Mo's: Samali Allure SA702SM 7'/2pc 8-12lb Med Spin for $99 with free freight. Never had any probs with MO, so come on lads don't let me down

I also ordered a rod online and am awaiting delivery, not from MO but waiting eagerly just the same.

I visited the local tackle shop today to get my grubby hands on a new reel with the view of either ordering online or buying on the spot if pri e is right. Guy tells me they don't keep those reels because no one wants to pay the money. "How much are they?" I ask....."$300" he says. I think that'll be my ne t online purchase...around $200 or less delivered!

I could not resist with the free freight. I've been eying these rods for a while. I normally buy from my local lads but this was too much of a bargain to pass up. Should be a better stick than the Raider it replaces.

The rod was an Okuma something or other 2 piece graphite from Graysonline ($60 delivered)

The reel I asked about was a Shimano Stradic 2500 size but didn't catch whether it was the Ci4 model or one of the others, the mere mention of the price put me off. I usually support my local where I can but am not in the position where the price is irrelevant unfortunately.

Well the new stick arrived today. I probably would have had it last Friday if I hadn't stuffed up my card details. Thanks for the service Mo. As for the rod, comparing the older Raider to this one all I can say is that on finish alone the Samaki winns hands down. I will be out to test it over the next few days. No tale of woe here
