I reckon the South African Stealth nutters would give those conditions a crack.

Sitting here having lunch and thinking how miserable it would be on kayak right now, and that's with full sunshine and no 8m waves. Wind chill would be a bit savage at the moment though.

It's going to be interesting when we hit king tide late tonight. I'm guessing a few lakes may open .... and a few lake shore backyards too.

BOM puts the wind chill at -2 oC. Not bad given it's 12 oC.
I tried to take some photos but it's hard to stand upright, let alone prevent hand shake.

Pics were almost impossible to take given the wind. Telephoto was what was require but image stabilisers can only do so much. This is the best I could come up with before the wind chill got to me.

It's only 15cm Patwah, and you know it. Oh you mean ....

I'm guessing the king tide tonight may open that very lake. What will become of my leviathons?
Speaking of which, I dropped something HUGE in there early last week. The second biggest thing I've hooked from the yak. Too big to be half a metre of bream. The first run I though Jew. Then I had trouble pumping it in on a 1kg drag setting. The second run said crock. The third run said goodbye. It was a two screamer.

Was out for a paddle today around Balmain (by Balmain Shores). The weather was ok up until 2:10. Things got fun on the return trip but overall it was a good experience. The school kids liked it as well....

Are you suggesting I could benefit from being more concise?
