Interested divers for a non-kayak dive trip

Postby gra » Fri Sep 16, 2011 12:03 pm

Folks,

following on from some discussion generated elsewhere, I'd like to gauge interest in getting out for a dive day in Moreton Bay. A few blokes need to do refreshers but could probably do it on the day with the right mob.

I generally go with Nautilus because they've got a pretty decent boat, a shit-big cat. They do Friday dives as well with the right numbers. So, without locking in a day yet, what's the interest?
Certainly myself and Indiedog, probably Couta 101, possibly Nezevic if he can find his man-card. Doesn't have to be a Friday but it was just an idea that appeals to me from a "keep the weekend free" point of view. Happy to do any day that gets the numbers.

I can go probably nearly any Friday in the next couple of months. Please register your interest in the idea. My concept is that once we've possibly got a bit of a dive-thing established perhaps then we could move to some kayak diving. (I say that just so I dont offend anybody by putting it in the Kayak Diving section. maybe it's got legs, maybe not)

Regards, Gra.

I'm in. Just tried on my wetsuit. Won't be fitting into that any time soon. Must have shrunk.....

I've got a spring suit that may do if the water temp is up.

Only the plate alloy type.

Jon, You gotta think out side the square. Sell something. Preferably something the wife wont need anymore once she's had children. Like her sense of humour; or interest in sex..

If you decide to go ahead with the sale I'm looking for an interest in sex for my wife.

Unfortunately a wife's sex-drive is a bit like a bee's sting. Once it's gone you cant put it back. Not yourself.

Yes but once the sting is gone the pain remains for some time and eventually just becomes an itch and lets not forget the swelling that is associated with it, that never seems to go.

2-step aluminium dive ladder. Step-through transom. Wide portafino stern for sitting while gear is removed.. spot up the front from which I can drop small pebbles down through Gra's bubble trail every few minutes, and whack him on the back of the head. ;)

Should be able to take 4 with gear + tanks.. or 5 with bugger-all.

Will be a little while before she's finally on-water though.

Red.

Oh yeah man, we're definitely going on your boat. Just got to get a few refreshers done and we're there. Personally Leigh, I think it's time you did your ticket.
