Despite the crap weather everywhere (or is it just here?) - I hope more than 4 people got out fishing for this comp!

I'll be scoring up Wed night - so if you've got something - anything - to enter - even if it is a tale of woe, get it in!

Don't let SBD win it with that god-ugly pig of a fish he entered!
Cheers

TOW entry.

I thought I would have something extraordinary to enter this month since I had a trip to Fraser Island with the kayak planned.

Arrived at said island with a group of 9 others after a 2.30am departure from the north side of Brisbane. The boys were on the sherberts from the minute they got into the vehicles and this set the tone for the entire trip. Only got the yak wet twice in 5 days which was not part of my plan but I was with a group and needed to tow the line since I had a further 2 passengers in my vehicle. Anyways, Wathumba creek was running black with dirty fresh water and I caught nothing and the other trip was up around the cape where I did not really want to fish as it is a desert in my opinion but I was with the group and they were having fun drinking so I went along. After this the weather turned crap and I missed out on fishing the productive inshore reefs chasing reefies in front of Orchid Beach where we were staying. For some reason we spent more time in the vehicles driving away from this prime location when the weather was perfect.

End result - a trip to kayak fishing paradise and lost opportunities....woeful :(
