Re: April Fishing Comp - WINNERS ANNOUNCED

Postby leftieant » Tue Apr 20, 2010 9:07 pm

Thanks to Pauly & the crew at SAILING SCENE (www.sailingscene.com.au), it's time to wrap up another monthly Fishing Comp.

Quite a busy month on the water - with Easter & School Holidays, everyone seemed to be out getting a line in the water and getting some fish. And the number of entries showed as well, with some super quality fish too - wait until you see the scores!

Top 5 Fish for the month were:

Solatree - 179 points - 52cm of muscled SA Salmon
Grinner - 151 points - 39.5cm of leg munching, Andybear eating QLD Whiting
mtfisho - 142 points - 54cm of prime VIC King George Whiting
yakaddict - 142 points - 110cm of Sydney Harbour Kingfish
BigKev - 138 points - 36cm of QLD's finest Whiting

This has given the leaderboard a fair shakeup - with Granpop being bumped off the perch, and a new contender taking his place:

Solatree - 495 points
Granpop - 436 points
Hatters - 427 points
Garmac - 414 points
SBD - 414 points

22 points between 2nd and 5th - and still 8 months of fishing still to come. Going to be a close comp!

Mystery prize winners for the month are: BigKev, Garmac and Polylureosis. Congrats folks - PM me your full name and address, we'll get something out to you!

Thanks all for your entries, and we'll see you next month.
