NSW, Hills District - Signing up

Postby strife » Wed Mar 10, 2010 5:29 pm

Well born Sandgroper that has just migrated back to the Hills District after a few years living in Melbourne.

Decided to get back to the fishing and the kayak fishing caught my interest.

I have had a good read over the forums for a few days and seems like a great reference site.

Was originally going to go for an Outfitter but decided in the first would go with a single and picked up my Moss ProAngler with Livewell and a few other bits and pieces.

Carrying it on top of a Prado so far the first on and off hasnt been to hard given its a big beast.

Hope to stick it in at Berowra Waters this weekend.

Yea

Looking forward to it havent really hit the rivers since I left home in WA, we lived on the Serpentine River and always had tinnies and used to make canoes from a good sheet of corregated iron, few bits of wood, and some slit hose pipe to go around the top of the corregated iron and a shit load of slicone.

All good fun, struggling to find the right FF for the PA, size location etc, price not really the big issue

Welcome to the forum Strife, good to have you on board. The PA is a great yak for fishing around Berowra you will be able to get right up into the shallow mangrove in the beast and pull some of those Hawksberry stonker bream out.

Cheers Dave
