Just wanted to say a quick hello to everyone on the forum. I have recently purchased my first kayak (read as last saturday
) and used the information availible on this forum during my due diligence stage 
Just wanted to thank everyone one the forum for their contributions as it made my purchase more informed about what i wanted out of a kayak and the choice which was availible for me. I ended up picking up a SkyBlue Viking ProFish45 new from Alex @ Chermside and it was a fabulious expirence to say the least! I have it fitted with the rudder and have plans already for a leccy motor for trolling purposes only - leaving the almightly paddle power for getting around
I have many many plans for the yak but will start off by getting out and using the thing for a few trips before i start doing any major installs/mods of sorts - this is what iv read many many times on AKFF
Really looking forward to getting out on some trips with members and learning as much as i can as quickly as i can, yes i am an absulute noob at kayaking, yet i purchased one over the alternitive of a stick boat (used to own a Quintrex Trophy Hornet 455) - i think a much wiser choice hehe.
