Vic Glenelg river good friday

A pre dawn river raid to beat the wind, ski boats and holiday makers.
Some bream and an 80 cm mulloway was the result.
A bigger one lost to a dodgy leader knot.
Oh well can’t and shouldn’t win them all.

Results like that make the early start worthwhile mate, a nice outcome for the effort.

All the fish were caught on pilchards. I think the biggest bream went 33 cm.

That first photo was take just after landing the mully, just watching the sun come up between rebaits - doesn’t get much better.
