Dru- I picked up a hand pump the other day, I can get a hell of alot of water out very quickly now. Im surprised how good the bilge pump is.
Also iv realised that the dividers up the front middle and back are a high density foam walling. So I cant actually roll it properly because it wants to roll itself back again.
Very stable rocking about getting things from the back, cuts through wash easy from people in boats. They get so close sometimes dammit!

Also My latest trip report thread is here if anyone wants a read. Its the first proper fishing session its had!

Looks good, reminds the Native Watercraft Ultimate 12, particularly with that sliding track system. http://nativewatercraft.com/boat.cfm?id=5

Be interested to read how you find it because I've been thinking that one day I'll buy a small yak, once I finally get my first one and all the goodies for it. I've been considering a hybrid canoe/yak as one option. This article gave me some good food for thought.

I got the Seabird Fisherman 12 on special at Anaconda on the weekend - from my internet research it and the Native Watercraft Ultimate 12 seem somewhat related and I think made in China. The accessory mounting systems are similar but not interchangeable. Harmony Slidetrax system is compatible with the Fisherman tracks.

Nice pick up ausayim. At that price they are a steal.

Just one thing. Are they made in China? With Seabird being a Norwegian company I just naturally assumed they came from there. Makes sense though because those prices (even the normal ones) seem to low for a European product. It makes sense that they would have them made in China like everyone else to remain competetive.

Same concept as the Wilderness Systems Commander that I saw and fell in love with at Adventure Outlet on the weekend. Just doesn't have the higher seating position available.

Great buy for that price. Would be perfect for overnighters along a river somewhere.
