Hey guys,

Thought I'd write up a post about my new Hobie Revo fitout which I'd completed over the weekend.

I bought my first Hobie Revo back in December 07' which had served me well for over 3 years. It was orange in colour and I named her Serenity after the usual feeling I'd get while out kayak fishing (in amongst fleeting moments of pandemonium and mayhem during the hot kingie sessions). Unfortunately my Revo recently succumbed to a crack around the mirage drive which was replaced by Hobie recently without question.Thumbs up! A 2011 replacement hull in red was ordered and I took delivery of Serenity II last week.

Accessory list:
ST fins
Eagle 350C colour FF (wet mount transducer in hull install, 7amp SLA battery in Hobie tray in rear hatch, head unit mounted in side pocket)
Anchor trolley
Swell Gemini 2 piece fibreglass paddle
Scotty 1073 downrigger
Freedom 7 shark shield + backup shark shield (shortened hand spear  )
2 x Hobie rod holder extenders
Sailing rudder
2 x RAM tube rod holders (1 in sail mount via RAM ball adapter, the other mounted behind the seat)
Safety flag (cheap 2-piece Kmart bike flag)
Seattle sports safety light
RAM suction camera mount
Waterproof Eagle VHF radio clipped to Camelback and attached via Hobie gear keeper
Hobie iComfort seat with cheap Denali camel-back style bladder strapped behind (no zippers, all velcro - very handy!)
Manual bilge hand pump and drogue sea anchor stored in centre hatch and leashed for easy retrieval
Bow and stern flotation bags (just in case!)
lip grips, gaff and whatever else leashed
