Johnknee, I found the circular drum that Avayak uses at the big Bunnings in Belrose (I think in the chlorine/pool stuff row?). The staff said they had none but I found about a dozen and bought one for about $16 AUD. The drum is actually the same as the ones I use for beer making so in between carrying livies, you could maybe make a brew. :D

thanks Rick n Micka..will sus them out...the perfect tub is short,fat,twist big top,with handles

Johnny,
the screw top drums are called "Open head" drums if you are searching on the net.
Bunnings Artarmon had them in racking in the nursery section.
