Wayne regret to say, take me from contender list to a no go mate. :(

Grandsons 18th birthday and all that goes with it are taking priority at present, and hope all at Lenthalls have a ball and find some quality fish, to go with the good company

I'm so pissed off. I completely got the dates arse-up, so to speak. Anyway, I'll be there until Saturday arvo, reckon I'm going to get there Thursday evening.

Sel you are not wrong about long winded celebrations for the young bloke, and hope they continue, being a grandad is something special and treasured mate.

And way to old to feel the need for excuses over fishing

Well mate, what better way to get ready for a day with 5000 sweaty half-nekid muscle-bound blokes than go camping with you fellas. Sure, Anthony Callea won't be at Lenthals but maybe Lazybugger will sing us a nice lullaby before we slip gently into our one-person tents. Understand? ONE-PERSON!

Gra, you BIG BABY!

I think we need a "meeting" to discuss the finer details! Any suggestions on a local venue?

Too many Freudian slips in your responses mate!!! Nothing to be ashamed of, we are all understanding types, good to see you have finally come out of the closet. I still can’t look at you the same way since you became a peddler though!!

Gra

It is a CAMP'ing trip, however I think you will need to bring your own "comfort/entertainment"

Why O' Lord was I so foolish as to disclose my actual reason for departing early? Why did I not just say I was attending an all day dance party? Come to think of it that wouldn't have helped would it. Such a subtle difference.. Blokes together in kayaks and tents for a couple of days is fine, but as soon as you say your hanging out with a bunch of guys listening to a little hard-core dance music...

Guys,

Some reports coming out that the dam is now overflowing and the fish are going over the top. Fishing has also shut down.

http://www.sweetwaterfishing.com.au/For ... 438.0.html

Acutally just looked at another post and the Dam is currently Closed

http://www.widebaywater.qld.gov.au/resi ... alldam.php

Sorry guys. Given how Lake Macdonald shut down after it flooded last year might I suggest you rethink this trip, perhaps try another location?
Cheers
